I don’t think most LPs know how to identify and define what a GP’s edge is, beyond being able to recognize strong ... past performance.
Also, it’s not the GP’s job to answer the question of whether they’re differentiated—it’s the LP’s.
I really appreciate the #OpenLP movement to share more about how LPs think about investing.
